Kasp provides retailers the opportunity to add value to their service

"The Pinning Kit allows the retailer to provide
an added value service."

Carl Kammerling’s security brand Kasp gives serious security stockists the ability to tailor padlocks to a customer’s specific keying requirement.

Following the launch of Keyed Alike and Master Keyed Padlocks, where the user can operate a multitude of locks with just one key, Kasp has introduced semi-assembled locks and pinning kits for the best-selling 125 Series Premium Brass Padlock range.

The semi-assembled padlocks can be manufactured to extend a Keyed Alike and Master Keyed suite or to open with an existing Kasp 125 series key.

The Pinning Kit, an essential pre-loaded set of components to modify 125 semi-assembled padlocks onsite, allows the retailer to provide an added-value service.

Kasp Brand Manager, Graham Godfrey, said: "Whether it involves creating additional locks for a suite, or matching a Kasp 125 series key, the pinning kit allows the locksmith to customise a semi-assembled padlock onsite."

"With over 40 years of lock experience, Carl Kammerlingl has introduced the addition to the Kasp range to support the retailer, allowing them to offer an added-value service to their customers."

The 125 Series features a hardened steel shackle and a double bolted locking mechanism that resists brutal attack. The 5 pin cylinder with paracentric keyway and anti-pick mushroom pins provides extra protection against picking and manipulation.

The pinning kit comes pre-loaded with 100 of each of the components needed for assembling padlocks and sheet identification labels to allow the retailer to arrange the components according to preference and label the compartments correctly.
