Drive Home The Profits With Carl Kammerling’s Infinitely Flexible Merchandising System
March 2010"To house this highly functional range, Carl Kammerling has launched a stylish and infinitely flexible merchandising system that can be integrated with existing slat wall or peg metal display."
Constantly at the forefront of design and innovation, Carl Kammerling International - major supplier of quality tools for professional trades - has enhanced its popular range of screwdrivers with the introduction of the C.K tools Triton XLS – a range of general purpose screwdrivers designed to deliver professional quality at an affordable price.
Ticking all the boxes, not only does the Triton XLS encompass all the essential features required in a general purposes screwdriver but pioneering new merchandising has also been developed to display this comprehensive range of screwdrivers in a unique and novel format to encourage sell-through.
Boasting an array of features normally associated with higher priced screwdrivers, the Triton XLS features a large, soft grip, tri-lobe handle for exceptional comfort and high torque turns, along with anti-roll flats, to prevent the screwdriver rolling away on sloped surfaces.
Excellent durability comes as standard thanks to the toughened alloy steel blade along with the injection moulded dual component handle that provides the ultimate blade to handle bond.
Tradesmen are sure to appreciate the convenient colour coded handles, which feature tip type marking on the dome of the handle making this innovative screwdriver easy to identify.
In meeting the ever changing needs of busy tradesmen, the Triton XLS range is available in a variety of formats, consisting of a slotted parallel tip, slotted flared tip, phillips and pozidrive screwdrivers, as well as two 5 piece screwdriver sets.
Ensuring maximum safety for those working with live electricity, the Triton XLS range also features two 5 piece insulated screwdriver sets, manufactured in accordance to IEC 60900:2004 and tested to 10,000v.
Flexible Merchandising
To house this highly functional range, Carl Kammerling has launched a stylish and infinitely flexible merchandising system that can be integrated with existing slat wall or peg metal displays, or used as a counter display unit or as a dedicated single or double-sided free standing unit.
At the heart of the system is a fully detachable shelf, which can be easily hooked onto a Z-frame to create a counter display unit with a footprint of just 48 x 31cm.
If counter space is limited the shelf can be hooked directly onto existing slat-walls or peg metal displays. For ultimate flexibility, the shelves can be positioned side-by-side for a long run or stacked above one another.
If space on existing merchandisers is at a premium, retailers have the option of taking Carl Kammerling’s new freestanding display unit. Measuring just 50cm across, the single sided version accommodates three shelves and the double sided offering has the capacity for six shelves. Both versions will accommodate screwdriver sets on the base.
The shelves hold 11 rows of screwdrivers, six deep, housing a total of 66 screwdrivers. A unique memory foam core, held within a rigid sheet metal case, holds the screwdrivers securely in position. The memory properties ensure that the foam does not disfigure over time, despite screwdrivers being removed and reloaded.
For a simple selection process, the merchandiser also features a plastic strip that can be loaded with identification labels to categorise the type of screwdriver within each row.
Impactful and informative header cards have been made available for each of Carl Kammerling’s mainstream screwdriver ranges - dextro, dextro VDE, HD classic, and now the new Triton XLS. All four screwdriver ranges and the new merchandising system are detailed in a dedicated screwdriver brochure, which is available on request.
