Carl Kammerling International donates to Local NHS Staff

The current Covid-19 pandemic has meant that the NHS has seen a shortage of PPE across the country. Doctors and nurses have been struggling to get the equipment needed to keep them safe from infection, with demand only expected to rise.

Here at Carl Kammerling International we have seen an increase in demand for PPE items, so much so we have run out of stock of many product lines.

We were contacted by a local GP; Dr Arfon Williams from the Nefyn GP Surgery (Tŷ Doctor) who has set up a local group of Dr’s practices to see what they can do in preparation for the possible increase of coronavirus cases in the area. CKI in response donated 200 Avit Safety Glasses free of charge to Bryn Beryl Hospital, Pwllheli with an additional 100 being donated to community nurses in the area, these were available to the NHS staff members the next day.

Everyone at Carl Kammerling International appreciates the work the Doctors, Nurses and all NHS staff are doing to look after those people in need and we are pleased to be able to assist wherever possible.

While CKI maintains an essential part in the supply chain to the construction (supplying electricians, plumbers, builders & maintenance workers) and manufacturing industries we have also implemented a number of measures which ensures the physical and financial well-being of our team.

We remain open for business to service our customers. Our Customer Services team are available to assist all enquiries, call on 01758 704704.
