We launch a new addition to the Combicutter range based on our extensive customer research: The Combicutter Max. More
The Combicutter3 wins the Best New Product Award at the 2007 SELECT Electrotechnical Awards in association with CABLEtalk
We achieve brand leadership in the Electrical Wholesale Channel with C.K tools

We're awarded Preferred Supplier Status for Hand Tools by Wolseley Group's Electric Centre
We re-launch the successful Avit brand with new, retail friendly packaging
Kasp comes back on TV and Tesco takes Kasp as their in-store padlock brand
The Kasp High Security Padlock wins the Silver Award at the 2007 Industry Awards
2006

We shake up the padlock market with our launch of the Kasp padlock brand. The launch is supported by extensive TV advertising, a first in the market place.
We launch the Combicutter – and create a whole new product category in the Electrical sector
The Combicutter is voted Top Product of 2006 by the readers of Professional Electrician and Installer magazine
We launch our category leading Tool Systems range, featuring the best selling Technician’s Toolcase

2005
We launch the Avit brand of good, no nonsense tools designed increase impulse purchases with its attractive packaging and even more attractive pricing.
We win the Achievement Wales Award for Employer of the Year for the 2nd time.
The Bright Sparks Scheme for colleges is launched to help train the electricians of the future.
We re-brand the C.K tools range.

2004
We win the Achievement Wales Award for Export
2003
CeKa Works Ltd and Carl Kammerling GmbH & Co. KG form a partnership to become Carl Kammerling International Ltd.
We win the Achievement Wales Award for Employer of the year for the first time.

Our former Chairman, Arnold Kämmerling, is awarded the Achievement Wales Award for Business Person of the year.
2000

We move into C.K House, a custom-built 37,000 sq ft warehouse and office building.

- 1993 - The company gains International Quality Standard ISO 9002.
Arnold Kämmerling is awarded the M.B.E. - 1990 - With a staff of over 100 people the company is the largest private employer in Pwllheli.
- 1967 - Wilhelm Kämmerling dies and Arnold Kämmerling and Marion Ingeborg Meyerratken take over the reins.
- 1963 - After successful development the business becomes a Limited Company with a staff of around 50 people.
- 1954 - The business is re-located to Pwllheli with a total staff of 6 people.
- 1951 - Wilhelm Kämmerling opens a UK office in Chiswick, West London.
- 1947 - The business is re-established in Wuppertal.
- 1943 - All 8 premises in Wuppertal are destroyed in a bombing raid.
The family evacuate to Melningen which later falls behind the Iron Curtain and the company is closed down. - 1935 - Five years after his father’s death, Wilhelm Kämmerling buys P.L.S as the two companies are doing similar work and serving the same markets.
- 1904 - Carl Kämmerling leaves P.L.S to set up his own business in Wuppertal selling tools under the C.K brand.
- 1875 - Carl Kämmerling enters the business as a young apprentice. His career progresses and he is sent to England to sell the company’s tools and later take charge of exports.
- 1790 - Peter Ludwig Schmidt (P.L.S) is founded in Wuppertal Germany by the Schmidt family who were farriers and swordsmiths.
