Our Community
Carl Kammerling International has been based in Pwllheli, North Wales since 1954. Over the years we have developed strong bonds with our local community through our employees and local sporting and charitable originations.
Our involvement with local groups and organisations is split between educational organisations and the charitable support of local and national community groups, youth organisations and general charities.

Education
We work closely with a number of local education establishments in an effort to enhance students understanding of the world of business and employment. We regularly work with two local secondary schools ( Ysgol Glan Y Mor and Ysgol Botwnnog) by preparing business presentations and site tours for their business studies students, as well as offering work experience placements to GCSE students.
However our commitment doesn't stop there. We continue to work with tertiary education facilities in the local area to offer relevant work placements and case studies to enable students to apply a real world understanding to their studies.
"The cooperation with Ysgol Botwnnog is vital and we as a school hope that this continues for many years. Without the visit to CK International, the pupils at Botwnnog could not study for a GCSE in Applied Business since 60% of the pass mark is based on an assessment in coordination with a local business. Preparation by the Staff at CK International entails sending a composite questionnaire beforehand which was then thoroughly answered in a professional manner. Follow ups were also dealt with." Iola Jones, Secondary School Teacher
Charities
Carl Kammerling International supports numerous local charities in various different ways. This can be through charitable cash donations or equipment. Donations of either cash or equipement take two forms - they may be formal donations made by the Company or they may be donations made by employees who, throughout the year, raise money within the organisation through arranging internal events, competitions and raffles. Each year employees are asked to nominate a recepient or recipients of the money raised throughout the year.
