The padlock market is extremely mature and has been stagnant for many years with little marketing innovation to assist retailers in maximizing sell-through.

When we brought Kasp to the market we were determined to revitalise the market and we have done so by backing Kasp with a £1/2 million TV campaign, the first ever TV campaign for padlocks within the UK & Ireland.

Run every year since launch, the TV campaigns have proved to be extremely effective with retailers reporting up to 60% increase in sales after switching to Kasp. More TV is planned for the future to build brand recognition and drive consumer demand.

Kasp padlocks are strong - very strong – and proof of this is demonstrated in the TV commercial which features the Kasp ‘test of strength’. It features rookie stuntman, Ben Tonge, hanging 200ft above a busy downtown road in Cape Town, South Africa, by two lengths of cable held together by a Kasp brass padlock. Thankfully Ben's nerve held, as did the Kasp padlock!
