Carl Kammerling International Limited accepts responsibility for the harmful effects its operations may have on both the local and global environment. The Company is committed to the continual improvement of both external and internal environmental performance by means of effective environmental management and application of a ‘Reduce, Reuse, Recycle’ approach to our consumption of resources, aligned to the requirements of ISO 14001.

Flexibility and willingness to change, through the habitual involvement of all employees in the process of continual improvement of working systems and practices, is the key to success for Carl Kammerling International Limited.

The Company operates an integrated management structure, combining the requirements of both Quality and Environmental Management Systems where applicable, that facilitate the achievement of the following Company-wide objectives:

• to comply with all applicable environmental legislation and regulations
• to comply with the requirements of our customers regarding the environmental impact of the Company activities, products or services
• to continuously improve operational efficiency through appropriate investment in both machinery, personnel and improved working practices
• to continuously improve energy efficiency and waste minimisation
• to assess our environmental performance and that of our suppliers
• to prevent pollution
• to ensure that this Policy is communicated throughout the Company and to the general public via our corporate websites
• provide a framework for setting and reviewing environmental objectives and targets
