Key Account Manager – Specialist Sales Channels

Carl Kammerling International sells its range of products to professional tradesmen through a network of retailers within various sectors.
Who are we looking for?
Due to changes of responsibility within our sales team we have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Key Account Manager to lead the development of a number of our multi branch and buying group accounts in some of our specialist sales channels.
You should have proven Key Account management experience with a track record of dealing with multi site businesses in a B2B sales environment.
High level responsibilities of this role are as follows;
·         Being the main point of contact for all Key Accounts within the selected sales channel sectors, primarily Electrical Buying Groups, Tool Specialist re-sellers and Industrial Supplies Distributors.
·         Developing and maintaining long-term relationships with the stakeholders & decision makers within those customer accounts.
·         Identifying market opportunities within the under developed sales channel customers.
·         Take the lead in Group negotiations with the support of the General Manager – UK & ROI Sales
·         Producing commercial sales plans along with proactive promotional activity.
·         Support the customer base by determining the level of CKI team activity & investment required to maintain and grow the business
·         Communicating appropriate customer information to the wider CKI UK & ROI field sales teams.
·         Ensure the customer is kept up to date on the latest Company offering in relation to product and price
·         Delivering growth & target plans for the sales channel sectors.
 
To succeed in this role, you will already possess;
·         A successful track record in multi branch B2B account management.
·         A friendly and outgoing personality capable of developing strong business relationships.
·         A target driven outlook with the ability to identify opportunities & deliver results
·         The ability to self-motivate, prioritise and manage your own workload
·         A strong competitive drive and eagerness to succeed, whilst creating a healthy and honest work environment.
·         Excellent organisational & system skills.
·         A full UK driving licence & be eligible to work in the UK.

Regional Sales Manager - North

The Company

Who are we looking for?

Due to changes of responsibility within our sales team we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Sales Team Manager to lead our Northern Sales Team. 

You should have proven sales and team management experience, and sector experience would also be highly beneficial (although not essential for the right people manager).

The main elements of this role will be:

  • Leading and supporting a sales team of 7 Territory Sales Managers (TSM's) - with the aim of supporting the development of the individual and subsequently the accounts on their area
  • Managing some multi branch accounts - directly or supporting the TSM in managing accounts which may have multiple branches on a territory, ensuring a proper developmental plan is considered and implemented
  • Increasing Sales revenue - playing a direct role in ensuring that team members are confident and able to grow the levels of sales in existing customers and new ones alike
  • Improving the brand(s) presence across multiple sectors - plan and implement an approach which lead to wider penetration across multiple channels with the aim of increasing sales

Brand Manager

Marketing is a key driver in our family owned and run business and the role of CK Brand Manager is central to our efforts to develop and grow the CK brand identity and associated product range. As part of the establishment of a new marketing team at our Head Quarters in Pwllheli we are looking to recruit an experienced Marketing Professional to aid us in continuing the growth of the CK brand.

  • Effectively market the Range and Brand – we want our products to be front of mind for professional tradespeople, you will need to know how to achieve this.

The overall goal of the role is to increase the sales of the CK and associated brands, so you need to be commercially focused with a good understanding of how to drive distribution profitably into various market segments.

  • Salary:£29,000.00 to £36,000.00 p.a.(dependant on experience)
