Long Service Award Celebration

Carl Kammerling International is celebrating another long service award with long standing team member, Paul Coles, who has dedicated 40 years’ service to the company.

Paul began his career straight from school in 1979 and worked in the Production Department before moving on into the Packing and Stores Departments.

As time went on Paul began to take on more Supervisory roles; first as a Team Leader, then Despatch Manager and, for the last 15 years, as the Warehouse Manager.

Paul commented:  ‘’I have thoroughly enjoyed working for the company over the last 40 years and I have made some good friends along the way. I’ve been able to progress in my career and am grateful for the opportunities the company have given me.’’

A family run business, Carl Kammerling International prides itself on being a good employer and believes that teamwork and mutual respect helps make a happy and loyal workforce as well as a successful Company. The company currently has over 80 employees in a variety of roles and boasts an average length of service of 13 years.

To mark this momentous occasion, Mr  Arnold Kammerling, Owner, awarded Paul a commemorative plaque, followed by lunch at Dylan’s Restaurant, Criccieth. Paul was accompanied by Tom Meyerratken, Managing Director and a number of his longstanding friends and colleagues from the Company.

Whilst enjoying lunch, the group found that between them, they had over 200 years combined service.

Now that’s dedication for you!
